Homes on the Lake Washington shore sold for an average 10.8 percent more than homes on Lake Sammamish; the median price was 25.1 percent greater. Among the 34 waterfront sales at Mercer Island, the average and median selling prices were $4.17 million and $3.08 million, respectively.
Waterfront sales in these two cities together peaked at ten sales monthly in both May and June of 2018. Ninety-seven sales were closed in the two cities from January 2018 through March 2019, 14 of them for more than $5 million. Among the 97 were six homes listed by RSIR, three each at Bellevue and Mercer Island, the latter including one home sold for $6 million and another sold for $8.15 million.
Among the 63 waterfront sales at Bellevue, the average and median selling prices over 15 months were $2.42 million and $2.39 million, respectively.
