2015 was a year for the waves, as the number of waterfront home sales in the Puget Sound region was up 8.78% year-over-year. Waterfront buyers were out in full force, as the average number of days spent on the market decreased in each county. In general, all counties studied saw an increase in sales, with the exception of Kitsap County.
Buyers flocked to the shores of Port Ludlow as it saw the greatest sale increase, up nearly 70% from 2014. Popular King County destinations including Bellevue and Seattle also saw steady increases at 25% and 17.5% respectively.
